Eclipse RCP pluginDuration to complete job3285daysDesired remuneration priceOver 500,000 yenI worked for about 9 years at a graphical editor for container terminals layouts(Graphical Terminal Editor-GTE) at TBA NL(www.tba.nl). I developed the tool on Eclipse RCP platform and I used the following libraries: SWT, JFACE, DOM4J, GUAVA.
In time i developed several small frameworks:
- a framework to arhive a MYSQL database into a file, and to recover the database from the file
- a framework to allow drawing of multiple types of objects on a SWT canvas, on different layers
- a framework for SWT virtual tables, very easily to use, which can hold millions of records with a good performance
- a SWT framework for editable tables, very flexible, very easy to use
- a framework to generate 2D and 3D mesh files based on a layout as input (provided by GTE)
- a framework to generate an AutoCAD file based on a layout created in a tool developed by me (GTE) in the company where I’m working
I developed also a module with mathematics functions (in 2D space) like: method to determine if a point it's in a polygon, method to determine intersection of two lines, etc.
