I also possess a degree in English language and literature and have experience in working in cross-cultural contexts. While I will not claim any level of fluency in Japanese, which I have studied in an academic setting in the past, I do have some minor proficiency.

My specialty is editing, polishing, and localization of texts. I am very confident in my skills regarding spelling, syntax, grammar, writing flow, and clarity. Not only am I capable of correcting and editing various texts, my background in linguistics gives me the ability to explain mistakes in a way that they are not repeated again. While I have, strictly speaking, no professional experience in this context, I have worked previously with a freelance Japanese artist to translate his blog posts in order to reach a bigger audience of viewers.
