I am studying for a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics and TESOL due to complete in September 2017. I have 10 years experience working as a nurse in the UK and 2 years experience of teaching English as a Second Language. My language skills are of a high caliber as would be expected of a teacher and someone undertaking an MA. I have no formal experience of proofreading or editing, but I have assisted colleagues and fellow students with their essays and other samples of written language. As a teacher I have had to read students' writing samples and highlight errors and make changes. During my nursing career, I had to maintain perfect documentation, being able to articulate myself and explain what had been done.
I am available for general English and medical related proofreading and editing. I have basic Japanese ability in speaking, reading and writing.
