I am NAATI accredited Professional translator (Arabic > English) and Professional Interpreter (Arabic/English) specialising in health.
I am a native Arabic speaker, with a Bachelors in Business and two Career Certificates in Translation from the American University in Cairo. Having done all my schooling in English, I am near-native. I have provided services to clients who speak different Arabic and English dialects, and feel comfortable and competent in almost all of them.
As a translator, my clients included international organisations, media outlets, universities and non-for-profit educational institutions both in Australia and overseas.
I am also an active executive member of the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators (AUSIT). I have trained interpreters presented workshops about interpreting for AUSIT.
