Worked as Executive Secretary/Office manager at subsidiary of US companies in Tokyo from 1988-1993. Moved to CA in 1996. From 1998 to 2000, translated seminar materials from English to Japanese for AMA Japan on as needed basis. From 2000 to 2003, worked as administrative assistant at startup high-tech companies. From 2004 to 2013, worked at Advantiv Technologies (a US subsidiary of Japanese company) as administrative assistant/inside sales. Studied bookkeeping by correspondence course from 2003-2005 and passed tests to become a certified bookkeeper. From 2014 to Feb 2017 I worked at SanBio (US subsidiary of a Japanese Company) and Sonoma Wireworks (100% US company) as part time bookkeeper. Since Feb 2017 I have been working at Rorze Automation (US subsidiary of Rorze Corporation, Japan) as staff accountant.
