I am a native Japanese speaker, who's been working as a freelance translator between English and Japanese for over one year. Mainly, I have been working for a client company based in Singapore through translating promotional / marketing materials regarding the company's various products ranging from descriptions / explanations of each product to contracts related materials. This role requires being specialised in the field of Spirituality in its broad extent that occasionally involves some specific terms from modern science, quantum physics, knowledge of ancient / modern history and other related humanity subjects. It also requires skills to deal with commercial / contract-related translation such as disclaimer section, refund scheme and contract terms.
