Eric Odle is an American translator from the country’s northernmost region: Alaska. When not hiking, fencing, or translating, he can probably be found in a café studying up on kanji (Chinese written characters) or buried in a book.

Unable to decide whether to focus on Japanese or biology in college, he opted to just study them both. Afterwards, jobs in the medical field, laboratory research, and English education provided him the technical background required for profession academic translation.

Seemingly incapable of escaping cold climates, Eric then lived in Hokkaido, Japan for 3 years. There, he was exposed to a wide variety of clients with a wide variety of needs. Having worked on projects ranging from patent applications, medical records, and academic journal articles to business negotiations, news articles, and video games, Eric can handle whatever challenges your project demands.
