My name is L. Emir Samonte and I am an editor and writer, PR specialist and Social Media Content Strategist.
From 1996 to 2006, I’ve worked for the top IT publications in the Philippines and managed several magazines that generated millions of pesos in advertising and event-related revenues.
For the last 8 years, I worked as a corporate and integrated marketing communications head. I helped startups and industry leaders increase their presence in Asia through directed and customized marketing communications and social media campaigns. I also did online and social media reputation management, answering inquiries, customer issues and concerns posted online. I also assisted companies to build rapport with the local Media through media meetings, round table discussions and press exclusives.
