My name is Robert Wallace. I am an American artist and teacher living in Kyoto.

Currently I am employed as an English instructor at a municipal school in Kyoto teaching working adults and retirees. I have taught at the university level for several years, including Ritsumeikan University, Osaka Institute of Technology and Kansai University of Social Welfare. I have experience writing curriculum, conducting workshops/seminars and copyediting. I was an English major at university, I am a published poet, and I maintained a popular Kyoto blog for many years.
