I believe that my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Technology and Livelihood Education from the University of Santo Tomas – Espana, Manila has prepared me for this profession. I was equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to help develop effective teaching strategies.
I have found the method of facilitating rather than dictating to be a highly beneficial style of teaching. I learned how to be a good teacher, leader, facilitator, and etc. I also learned that being a teacher is also being a second parent to the students. Also, I have the opportunity to teach Christian Living Education, because if you will look to my T.O.R, I have 15 units of Theology courses during my college.
My teaching experience taught me a lot of lessons – as a teacher at the same time as a person. I experienced a lot of scenarios that will enhance my development as a teacher.
