I am an English tutor to Japanese students. I have been in this job for quite some time now. I love to teach English and see the fulfillment I get and receive from my students. This makes me more motivated to do well at work.
With regards to data entry is a simple job but requires immense accuracy and speed to get a 100% output. Most of the work required me a typing speed of 50 wpm, including web searches with the use of different websites (e.g. Google Chrome, People Finder etc.) and a huge percentage of calculation.
I was also assisting my supervisor to double check works such as noting out misspelled words, wrongly encoded format, wrongly encoded data, making sure each employee should pass on or before the due date etc. These were able to hone my skills in doing data entry as well as practice my knowledge in using different applications (e.g. MS Office, PDF, Google Spreadsheet). Though it may have ups and downs, to conclude, this job was fun.
