I am a home based ESL teacher for more than two years now. I am teaching basic and conversational English to Chinese students. This experience has equipped me how to be an effective teacher in teaching English as a second language to foreign students. Being an effective teacher means you have to share your knowledge so that the learners will be able to understand and love the English language. It is quite challenging first because of the class set up where in class is conducted via online using a computer. But I believe because I have a passion for teaching it helped a lot. I am patient, enthusiastic and I have a very positive outlook in everything. Especially in dealing with difficult students, it is important to understand the level of the student first.
