- analyzing past results, financial status by collecting, monitoring and studying data, performing variance analysis, providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
- soliciting and acquiring contracts, evaluating bids, negotiating terms, drafting contracts, reviewing contracts drafted by the legal team, overseeing execution of contracts, monitoring expenditures against contracts, extending contracts and keeping the contracts funded
- controlling compliance with the status of operating / capital costs
- working with contractors and suppliers to monitor and track the progress of work and the implementation of agreements reached
