I am Charisse Mercado. I graduated with the degree Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Bulacan State University (BulSU) and previously worked as an ESL teacher for Chinese students and a copy-editor for academic journals.

My previous work experience as an ESL teacher has enhanced my interpersonal skills as I learned how to deal with people of all ages. I also improved my problem-solving skills as I was everyday challenged to adapt to students with different needs. Aside from that, my post as a copy-editor has helped me train my attention to detail and my ability to work under pressure.

I have above-average writing skills. My degree in Journalism has helped me improve my craft. I have been into writing classes, workshops, seminars, and internships which taught me the tools of the trade.
