Richard founded Zen Research Myanmar in early 2013. On a mission to raise the standards of Quality Control in Myanmar to international levels Richard built and trained a local team capable of delivering consistently to some of the world’s most prominent global brands.

Richard is an experienced market researcher who has spent most of the past 25 years in the Asia Pacific region having lived and / or worked in Japan, China, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and Myanmar. Richard and Zen Research have close ties with Japan and many Japanese clients having lived in Japan for almost 10 years. His research experience includes pharmaceutical and healthcare research as well as FMCG, automotive, finance and social research through a broad range of quant and qual methodologies.

Richard has a passion for building and mentoring teams in and across different cultures while continually searching for new and innovative as well as local solutions to today’s research challenges.
