Experienced English/Malay-Japanese translator with a demonstrated history of working in the publishing industry, mainly in the editorial department.
Since 2012, I have been working as a Jap-Eng translator at QtoJAPON inc., a company that provides free magazines for foreign students in Japan. I oversee the translation of articles regarding the latest pop culture in Japan, lifestyle, and colleges/universities information.
In 2016, I started working at Kadokawa Gempak Starz (Malaysia) and till today, I continue my role as a Jap-Malay freelance translator. While working as an in-house translator, I took part in other projects that required me to demonstrate my language skill such as preparing/translating presentation materials from English to Japanese and acting as an interpreter.
I managed to accomplish many translation projects with outstanding results and even help fellow colleagues to understand the cultural differences in order to deliver an excellent outcome in their projects.
