Project Associated Professor A Japanese specialist, accomplished, high energy scientist and plant molecular biologist with 20+ years of experience in biotech research for both academic (CIAT, http://ciat.cgiar.org/; RIKEN-CSRS, http://www.riken.jp/en/research/labs/csrs/; KIBR , https://www.yokohama-cu.ac.jp/eng/research/kihara.html ) and commercial (Bio-Rad) entities. Project manager with versatile leadership skills to run projects with strong foundational knowledge of molecular biology and basics of bioinformatics. Involved in several applied and basic research projects . Multilingual in English, Japanese, Spanish, Turkish, Persian, Kurdish and holding Japanese nationality. Currently supporting “The Project for Genome Editing in Cassava Crop Plant” supported by MEXT KAKENHI, Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research on Innovative Areas, Numbers 16H06466 and 16H06464, and try to tune up the flowering time of Cassava, Between Japan (Through YCU-KIBR) and Colombia.( through CIAT-HQ).
