I am currently working at GE Global Operations Europe R2R Team as a R2R Accountant. My main tasks include working on closing activities in areas of Compensation and Benefit and managing and Performing US GAAP general accounting activities of local GE Businesses. I have also been proving myself as a good team player by validating and applying the appropriate principles on unusual/non-routine transactions and assisting in monthly and quarterly balance sheet and P&L review and prepare variance analysis. With the experience I acquired at the New York’s financial company, as a new member of the team I performed activities required for year-end closing (performing balance sheet and P&L reconciliation, comments) according to the respective business deadlines with no problems.
