My name is Kenneth Tong – Kurug, a technical engineer at the Ghana Irrigation Development Authority. I am responsible for all civil works on the biggest irrigation scheme in Ghana (Kpong Irrigation Scheme) which is my duty station. I carry out maintenance and construction works on the civil and hydraulic structures on the scheme. Due to the lack of human resources on the scheme, I assist agric extension officers to carry out on farm training for farmers to help build their capacity on good agronomical practices.
