Speaking German, Japanese, French and English, languages are my key strength. My German-Japanese background helped me also to develop a sensibility for cultural diversity and openness for different mentalities which both are sociological topics that inspire me. During my studies, my particular interest lay in sociolinguistic issues. Therefore, I dedicated my thesis to problems and perspectives of Japanese language education for Japanese heritage speakers in Germany. Having spent one year in Tokyo studying at Waseda University allowed me to improve my language skills and deepen my insight into Japanese society. Living in France since 2016, I can say that I have lived and worked in three different countries, each time under very different conditons and always eager to participate in and contribute to society.
