Professional Experience
Hello! I am Maria from the Philippines.
I currently live in Japan as an English teacher to multiple elementary schools and junior high school. My dynamic yet distinctly Japanese working environment allows me to use both Japanese and English as a means of communication, as well as promote cultural exchange among students and teachers alike.
Prior to moving to Japan, I was a Consumer Marketing Exercutive for Nestle Philippines. I handled marketing plans, budgets, and brand development for multiple categories over 3 years. I'm deeply passionate about digital marketing and strategic growth through creative brandbuilding and design.
I graduated with honors from Ateneo, one of the top universities in the Philippines, with a degree in Business Management, and minors in Japanese Studies and International Business. I was placed in Advanced English classes, and am confident of my writing and oral communication skills.
