I am a graduate in Economics and Finance from Kenyatta University in Kenya. I also hold a certificate in Leadership and Mentorship from the same institution. Currently i work as a market and economics analyst at the Competition Authority of Kenya which is equivalent to the Federal Trade Commission of the USA and the JFTC of Japan. Specifically, i work in the Mergers and Acquisition department. The department carries out analysis and investigations of merger cases filed by parties in a merger transaction.

The analysis and investigation is a fact finding mission on the possible competition and public interest concerns of a filed merger. I chose this kind of work because it gives me the best opportunity to put into practice what i studied in school. Secondly, i have a passion in research and advocacy activities and the job involves a lot of field visits and investigations in a fact finding mission.
