Professional Experience
I have been working in HIV & AIDS and Drug Use field since 2004 and from 2006 I am involved in SATHI SAMUHA; Community-led Organization of Positive People Who Use Drugs (PUDs) in Nepal as Executive Director.
Since June 2017, I represent PUD community of Nepal in Executive Board of Asian Network of People Who Use Drugs, as a Secretary.
I have demonstrated skills on (a) Concept-note & Proposal writing (b) Governance, Program & Human Resource Management, (c) Initiating an effective lobbying & advocacy with Government entities and Donors for various purposes like (i) for protection & promotion of human rights of PUDs and people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV) (ii) urging donors to invest in worthy places & for real needy populations and last but not the least (iii) for development & amendments in national health policies to be supportive towards the most marginalized and excluded groups like PUDs, FSW, MSMs & PLHIV. Similarly, I have taken training on Counseling too.
