1. Research Objectives
To research product availability and sales of Nursing /Care Robotics Products in Singapore.

2. Research Period
From 29th of Jan. To 2nd of Feb.

3. Scope of Work
Conduct Survey A & B **Survey Form will be provided**

4. Details of Survey A
a. List up 20 Nursing/Care Robots developed or sold within last 10 years in Singapore.

b. Select Nursing/Care Robots that are equivalent to those that are defined as one of following 6 fields "+ 1".
- The definition of Nursing/ Care Robotics is based on 6 fields & 13 items released by METI (Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) and MHLW (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare) - "The Priority Areas where Robotic Technology is to be Introduced in Nursing Care of the Elderly".

- "+1": Self-Support and Home Care (addition to above 6 fields)
- Nursing/Care Devices used for home care or self-support.
- Exclude medical equipment such as for rehabilitation purpose.

c. Research basic information such as Manufacturer, Product Name, Functions, Photos and References

d. Categorize Product as Following Level;
Level 1:
A product is under development or only demo unit is available (not available in market)
Level 2:
It is said that a product is available in market, however, it is not confirmed or rarely available.
Level 3: (select at least 5 products)
A product can be purchased and be able to confirm that it is used by existing users (i.e. at least more than 10 units sold)

5. Details of Survey B
- Select at Least 5 of Level 3 products from a result of Survey A.

- Conduct further research on following items;
a. Product Users (Individual like Elderly, Nursing/Care Professions like Care Worker, Family)

b. Sales Area, Sales Volumes

c. Primary Party bearing Cost (i.e. Individual, Care Service Providers, Local Government, Public Benefits/Government Grant)
If Primary Party bearing Cost is NOT individual
i) Cost Bearing System / Framework
ii) Decision Maker of providing Benefit or purchasing Product
iii) Benefits expected by Party bearing Cost on Product (i.e. Economical, Others)

d. Sales & Distribution Channel (i.e. Manufacturer's Branch, Sales Distributors)

e. Availability of Registration on Public Nursing/Care Equipment Database (i.e. eastin: http://www.eastin.eu/en-ie/searches/products/index)
