調査方法：
Using the Internet, you will extract information and academic papers on research and efforts to promote the utilization of digital technology for persons with disabilities and the elderly from publicly available information.
※ For "persens (people) with disabilities" (disabilities, handicapped), please set the search priority as follows.
1. Physically handicapped：
(example) Physically handicapped, quadriplegic, etc.

2. Visually impaired / hearing impaired：

Although assistive technologies are widely used as products that support the lives of persons with disabilities and the elderly, the participation of users, caregivers, and other stakeholders is important for their development, and their needs and usage environment. Many issues have arisen in order to realize appropriate development that incorporates the above.
In particular, the rapid progress of digital technology in recent years has made the task more complicated, and has the potential to change the flow of development and use of assistive technologies. It is necessary to assume that the role of the rehabilitation professionals will change accordingly.
Therefore, the purpose of this survey is to understand the situation overseas regarding research and efforts to utilize digital technology in a way that is useful for the disabled and the elderly.
