This is a job from one of Japan’s leading electronic appliance makers.
A great opportunity for a large corporation to showcase your work on a global scale!

Your work will be used at “Hackathon”, an electronic maker group event. As mentioned in the title, this job will require you to create a character and name it yourself. This event is an inner discussion for the future of their next generation platform business.

As this is a project style job, please submit your work through the site for the client to see. The submission process will be: A file attachment of your character design and an attachment of the name or by text input.

If your work is chosen, we will feature your profile as the creator of our design at the event, as well as within the Workshift website, so please have an extensive profile!

(Character Image)
Concept: A character that would be worthy and relative to the “Hackathon”
Form: We ask you to create a robot character (Adult audience, no childish looking robots)
Image: Adventurist, Challenging nature, Exciting
Color: Any color is fine
Gender: Either gender is okay

(Naming the character)
We are looking for names that resemble Pokemon characters, or something similar (easy to pronounce) Potentially names that end in –mon or –sy.

(File format)
Please submit the file as a JPEG or PNG at the application stage
Please submit the file as an .ai or .psd for the delivery stage (Only the winner)

(Pixels)
We ask you to use over 1000x1000 for the pixel ratio.
The horizontal to vertical ratio is up to you.


(Competition Rewards)
First place: 40,000 Yen
Second Place: 6,000 Yen
Third Place: 4,000 Yen
(You can submit more than 1 design per person)

(Final Choosing Period)
After the application period is over, it may take up to 2 weeks for the final decision, as the client (Electronic Appliance Maker) will ultimately decide.
