Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
Monitoring and Maintaining Computer Systems and Networks.
Talking Staff or Clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help setup systems or resolve issues.
Troubleshooting System and Network Problems and Diagnosing and Solving Hardware or Software faults.
Replacing parts as required.
Responding within agreed time limits to callouts.
Working continuously on a task until completion.
Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals.
Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops.
Install authorized software to laptops and desktops.
Making of Cat 5-6 Network Cables where necessary.
Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software
Designs and produces basic reports;
Maintains records;
Contributes to unit goals by accomplishing related duties as required;
Prepare data spreadsheets, charts, graphs, attendance sheets of events and other documents as required;
Provide technical assistance to office staffs as needed;
Assist in software and hardware upgrades;
Ability to quickly gain new skills and knowledge when faced with new challenges,
Coordinate and schedule operational area meetings, national or international seminars and other events as required;
Support staff in assigned project-based work;
Collect, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including regular mail, email and faxes.
Report writing for the ongoing projects, events and national and international seminars;
